Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ce d\u00e9ploiement, les 40 % de Qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois qui n\u2019avaient pas encore acc\u00e8s au service pourront d\u00e9sormais appeler au 211 pour trouver les ressources pr\u00e8s de chez eux. Ce d\u00e9ploiement est possible gr\u00e2ce au soutien du Fonds d\u2019urgence pour l\u2019appui communautaire, un programme d\u2019Emploi et D\u00e9veloppement social Canada mis en place pour soutenir le r\u00e9seau communautaire dans le contexte de la pand\u00e9mie de COVID-19. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les\ndeux op\u00e9rateurs licenci\u00e9s 211 au Qu\u00e9bec, le Centre d\u2019information et de\nr\u00e9f\u00e9rence de la Capitale-Nationale et de Chaudi\u00e8re-Appalaches et le Centre de\nR\u00e9f\u00e9rence du Grand Montr\u00e9al, assurent le d\u00e9ploiement du service et sont appuy\u00e9s\npar Centraide United Way Canada (CUWC), partenaire fondateur du 211 au Canada,\nqui administre les fonds dans ce projet d\u2019implantation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Afin\nde r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 des d\u00e9lais de mise en place tr\u00e8s serr\u00e9s, l\u2019ajout au r\u00e9pertoire des\norganismes des nouveaux territoires desservis a \u00e9t\u00e9 fait pour r\u00e9pondre en\npremier lieu aux besoins jug\u00e9s prioritaires, soit&nbsp;: &nbsp;l\u2019aide alimentaire et mat\u00e9rielle, le soutien\nau logement et \u00e0 la recherche d\u2019emploi, l\u2019aide en sant\u00e9 mentale et les services\ngouvernementaux. Les autres organismes seront ajout\u00e9s au fur et \u00e0 mesure d\u2019ici\nau 31 mars 2021. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Qu\u2019il s\u2019agisse d\u2019une personne\n\u00e2g\u00e9e se sentant isol\u00e9e ou anxieuse \u00e0 l\u2019id\u00e9e de manquer de services de premi\u00e8re\nn\u00e9cessit\u00e9, d\u2019une famille peinant \u00e0 se nourrir ou d\u2019une personne souhaitant se\nrenseigner sur les mesures de soutien financier qui pourraient lui \u00eatre\noffertes, le 211 est la voie d\u2019acc\u00e8s vers l\u2019aide et les programmes disponibles,\net aiguille les gens afin qu\u2019ils s\u2019y retrouvent plus facilement et rapidement\ndans le r\u00e9seau complexe des programmes communautaires et des services gouvernementaux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>LE SERVICE 211 AU QU\u00c9BEC<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il\ns\u2019agit&nbsp;:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>D\u2019un\nservice t\u00e9l\u00e9phonique d\u2019information et de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence vers pr\u00e8s de 10 000\nressources sociocommunautaires, accessible 7 jours sur 7, gratuit, confidentiel\net disponible en 200 langues gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un service d\u2019interpr\u00e8te&nbsp;;<\/li><li>D\u2019un\nservice de clavardage disponible partout au Qu\u00e9bec d\u00e8s aujourd\u2019hui&nbsp;; <\/li><li>D\u2019un\nr\u00e9pertoire en ligne qui g\u00e9olocalise chaque organisme, d\u00e9taille les services et\nprogrammes offerts, la client\u00e8le cibl\u00e9e, et les crit\u00e8res d\u2019admissibilit\u00e9&nbsp;;\n<\/li><li>D\u2019un\noutil d\u2019analyse sociale bas\u00e9 sur les appels, d\u00e9ploy\u00e9 dans les prochaines\nsemaines pour tout le Qu\u00e9bec. Thanks to\nthis implementation, the 40% of Quebecers who do not yet have access to this\nservice will now be able to call 211 to find resources that are close by. This\ndeployment is made possible thanks to the assistance of the Emergency Community\nSupport Fund, an Employment and Social Development Canada programme put in\nplace to support the community sector during the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The two\nlicenced operators in Qu\u00e9bec, the Centre d\u2019information et de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence de la\nCapitale-Nationale et de Chaudi\u00e8re-Appalaches and the Information\nand Referral Centre of Greater Montr\u00e9al, who are ensuring the deployment of\nthis service, are supported by Centraide, founding partner of 211 in Canada. Centraide\nwill be administering the funds for this project. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to\nrespect tight implementation deadlines, the addition of organizations to the\non-line directory was done to first meet the needs that were deemed a priority,\nsuch as: food and material assistance, support for housing and job search, help\nfor mental health and government services. The other organizations will be added\ngradually by March 31<sup>st<\/sup>, 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Whether it is\na senior feeling isolated or anxious at the thought of not having services for\nbasic needs, a family who does not have enough food or someone wishing to know the\nmeasures for financial support available to him\/her, 211 is the pathway towards\nhelp and accessible programmes. 211 can guide people so that they may find\ntheir way easily and quickly within the complex network of community programmes\nand government services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The 211\nservice in Qu\u00e9bec<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>An information and referral\nservice towards near 10 000 socio-community resources, accessible 7days\/7,\nfree, confidential and available in 200 languages thanks to an interpretation\nservice.<\/li><li>A chat service available across\nQu\u00e9bec, starting today.<\/li><li>An on-line directory, that in every organization\u2019s file, has details\nof the services and programmes provided, the targeted clientele and eligibility\ncriteria.<\/li><li>A social analysis tool based on the calls, which will be deployed in the\ncoming weeks across Qu\u00e9bec.
