Drummondville, juin 2023<\/strong> \u2013 Centraide CDQ d\u00e9voile un investissement social de plus de 1 450 000 $ aupr\u00e8s des communaut\u00e9s du Centre-du-Qu\u00e9bec. Cette contribution renforcera ind\u00e9niablement le tissu social de nos r\u00e9gions, soutenant ainsi des organismes et des projets communautaires visant \u00e0 briser le cycle de la pauvret\u00e9 et de l’exclusion sociale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marc H. Plante, directeur D\u00e9veloppement et partenariats, a indiqu\u00e9 que cette somme \u00ab sera investie dans des actions et des initiatives pertinentes et structurantes visant \u00e0 changer v\u00e9ritablement la trajectoire de vie des personnes les plus vuln\u00e9rables. \u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00c0 titre d’exemple, M. Plante a mentionn\u00e9 que malgr\u00e9 une \u00e9conomie diversifi\u00e9e et florissante, le Centre-du-Qu\u00e9bec est aussi confront\u00e9 \u00e0 des enjeux sociaux majeurs, rappelant que la r\u00e9gion pr\u00e9sente le 3e plus bas revenu disponible par habitant de tout le Qu\u00e9bec.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00c0 l\u2019instar des autres territoires de la province, le logement abordable est, lui aussi, un sujet fort pr\u00e9occupant pour un tr\u00e8s grand nombre de familles alors que plusieurs d\u2019entre elles doivent faire appel aux services de distribution alimentaire r\u00e9partis dans l\u2019ensemble de la r\u00e9gion pour tenter d\u2019\u00e9quilibrer leur budget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Par ailleurs, \u00e0 Drummondville notamment, l\u2019augmentation de l\u2019itin\u00e9rance est notable et envoie le signal que tout n\u2019est pas au beau fixe malgr\u00e9 une \u00e9conomie r\u00e9gionale en bonne sant\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nouvellement arriv\u00e9 dans l\u2019\u00e9quipe de Centraide CDQ, Marc H. Plante a tenu \u00e0 souligner le travail de Val\u00e9rye Bourassa, qui a su d\u00e9velopper et entretenir de pr\u00e9cieuses collaborations avec les partenaires du milieu, et de Benoit Magny, qui s\u2019assure que Centraide fait une v\u00e9ritable diff\u00e9rence dans la vie des plus vuln\u00e9rables en soutenant plusieurs organismes communautaires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Il a aussi remerci\u00e9 les pr\u00e9cieux collaborateurs b\u00e9n\u00e9voles membres du Comit\u00e9 d\u2019analyse et de relations avec les organismes pr\u00e9sid\u00e9 par M. George Loiselle et du Cabinet de campagne, pr\u00e9sid\u00e9 par Mme Annie Beauregard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
